My wife and I moved to Birmingham, Alabama from Florida many years ago and were shocked to find such a wonderful place that is certainly a secret to most people in the country. I have lived in South Carolina, Michigan, Louisiana, and Florida. Of all these places, I have enjoyed Birmingham more than any previous location - and that's saying a lot!

I am 37 years old, and a 1994 graduate from Florida State University with a degree in Economics. Immediately after graduation, I opened a small restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina which I later sold. That was a tough business, and I respect those who can make that business work!

For the past 7 years, I invested in real estate and found rental units a stable and steady source of income.

Previously, I was employed with State Farm Insurance and Parisian as a computer trainer and web developer. Web development is a great hobby and serves as an invaluable tool for my business. This website receives over 8,000 hits per day and over 200 visitors per day!

Selling real estate in the Birmingham Alabama area is a great career. It's a very good feeling when I'm able to find a home for a family that fits their needs.

At the age of 29, I was one of Helena Alabama's youngest elected officials. I ran a successful campaign and was elected by the people of Helena as a City Councilman, Place #1 and served the public for 4 years. I decided not to run again so that I could focus all my attention to real estate.

CAHABA RIVER CLEANUP (Learn More)

The Cahaba River is one of Alabama's great natural resources. Folks from around the country run many stretches of the river in canoes and kayaks. Unfortunately, the river has become a dumping ground. But, the river is still mostly a clean natural resource. Mother Nature plays a part in the demise of the river as well. Trees block many areas of the waterway preventing boaters from passing.
